Welcome! My name is Maria Sawaya, founder of Très Chic Events. I was a French teacher for seven years and now have gone into full-time event planning. I have been planning events for the last several years both personally and professionally, from weddings, bridal showers, and parties. Planning events is a true calling for me. I have planned events in both Virginia and Kentucky. I am glad to be back in Lexington. Having grown up here and working in the industry, I have gotten to know several vendors and can help coordinate your next event.

Being a homemaker and planner is who I am. I grew up in a household where we always threw lavish parties. I have learned a lot from my mother and she has passed this gift along to me. I believe I bring a chic and calming touch to all of my events and can help put all of the finishing touches in place.
